Dad dosed the dog with a sedative, and it still took hours for everyone to fall asleep.
I'm only up now because I had to use the facilities.
My phone battery temp this morning before I touched my phone, was 48°F. That's a bit chilly.
Plans for today: I don't really know yet. We have to make it through today, supposedly, before the outdoor temps rise once again. I'd look out my window to see how the snow levels are doing, but my window comforter is still covering that. Much like the stereo cabinet, the furnace returns, the sliding door, the upstairs entrance to the TV room, and the bathroom window. Anything to keep the warm in.
Toshi eyes me while I sit trying to warm myself
pristine snow glows in the sun
more green is showing through than before
neighbour driving up the road with dad riding shotgun to help him with sawing and such
mom walking the dog who is barely tall enough to show above the paths in the snow
sunlight cutting through the snow finally
tractor tracks and sunlight
pretty clouds look remarkably similar to the snow
the swath neighbour and dad cut through the trees freed up the road nicely
the saggy powerlines barely held off the road by a rope a neighbour tied further up the road

I did a bunch of smaller indoor projects today. Some more hole-plugging (range hood, with cardboard; new system for stairway entrance at top; etc).
I walked the dog for a bit and ended up carrying him back. I also walked up the hill and took some nice photos. :)
I made mom and myself grilled cheese sandwiches for breakfast and am starting to think that was a mistake. Nothing else sounded good, so I went with it and now I'm getting extremely foggy and irritable.
I'm honestly too tired to type any more.
