We spent from last Friday, until yesterday afternoon in a coastal town south of where we live (more inland).
While it was really fun, I sort of feel like it would've been more fun had I had more energy.
I didn't get out for walks as much as I used to, that's for certain. Not a particularly big deal, but certainly telling as to my physical shape. Which is, "not particularly good at present". It's been a bad few hot months stuck inside doing nothing but sweating. And I'm not ashamed to admit it's hammered my fitness. Such as it was.
On the other side of the fitness coin, I'm at the lowest BMI I think I've ever been at in my entire life right now, which is not only amazing, but extremely pleasant. I think at one point during my heavy phase, I had gotten all the way up to 185-190 pounds or so. For someone who is now 5'6", thaaaaat's a lot.
A quick visit to a BMI calc shows me I can lose about twelve more pounds before I should be overly concerned. Though to be fair, I suspect it may be slightly more than that, this flab around my middle is still hanging out, while other parts of me have quite fully redistributed already.
I'm still spending a lot lot of time with my embyfriend online, as that seems to be the only way to really do so at present. Neither of us are super keen on phone calls. I just wish I was better at traveling like my family and I did this weekend. But on my own. I'd drive there, or fly to see them.
Unfortunately, it's too far to drive, which would be my preference.
They actually got me through some not so good emotional places this weekend, for which I'm very thankful.
